You’ve created an account, installed the extension and synced your profile. Now let’s send your very first AI-generated proposal. End-to-end it takes under 30 seconds.<\/p>\n

Step 1 \u2013 Find a job<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Open Upwork’s job search: upwork.com\/nx\/search\/jobs<\/code>.<\/li>\n
  2. Filter by your category and skills.<\/li>\n
  3. Click on any job listing to open the details page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Step 2 \u2013 Check Fit (optional but smart)<\/h2>\n

    On the job details page the floating Upwex AI<\/strong> widget shows two action cards:<\/p>\n

    • Check Fit<\/strong> \u2013 runs an AI analysis of the job and prints Match Score, Red Flags, Client Info and tips. The button changes to View Results<\/strong> if you’ve already analyzed this job.<\/li>\n
    • Quick Apply<\/strong> (Pro and Max plans) \u2013 the one-click shortcut: Upwex generates the cover letter, answers screening questions and submits the proposal for you. If your plan allows it, you can skip Steps 3\u20135 entirely.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      If the Match Score is low or there are serious red flags, consider skipping the job and saving connects.<\/p>\n

      Step 3 \u2013 Open the proposal form<\/h2>\n

      Click Upwork’s Apply Now<\/strong> button on the job page. You’ll land on Upwork’s proposal form, where the Upwex Cover Letter widget appears.<\/p>\n

      Step 4 \u2013 Generate the cover letter<\/h2>\n

      The Cover Letter widget opens with three action cards:<\/p>\n

      • Cover Letter<\/strong> \u2013 opens the prompt editor so you can pick a template and generate.<\/li>\n
      • Autocomplete<\/strong> \u2013 fills every field (cover letter + screening answers) without submitting.<\/li>\n
      • Auto Bid<\/strong> \u2013 fills every field and<\/em> submits the proposal in one click.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        For your first proposal, click Cover Letter<\/strong> \u2192 tweak the prompt if needed \u2192 click Generate<\/strong>. Within a few seconds Upwex inserts the generated text directly into Upwork’s cover letter field.<\/p>\n

        Step 5 \u2013 Review and submit<\/h2>\n

        The widget switches to a success card. From here you can:<\/p>\n

        • Read the inserted text inside the Upwork textarea and freely edit it before submitting<\/li>\n
        • Click Regenerate<\/strong> in the widget to replace it with an alternative version<\/li>\n
        • For each screening question, click \u25b6<\/strong> to generate an answer or \u21bb<\/strong> to regenerate it<\/li>\n
        • Click Upwork’s Submit Proposal<\/strong> button to send<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
