When you click Apply Now<\/strong> on an Upwork job, you land on the proposal form. That’s where the Upwex Cover Letter widget<\/strong> shines \u2013 it writes your cover letter for you in 3\u20135 seconds.<\/p>\n

Widget layout<\/h2>\n

When you open the widget, you see three action cards:<\/p>\n

  • Cover Letter<\/strong> \u2013 generate a personalized proposal<\/li>\n
  • Autocomplete<\/strong> \u2013 fill every field on the form without submitting<\/li>\n
  • Auto Bid<\/strong> \u2013 fill every field and<\/em> submit the proposal in one click<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Click Cover Letter<\/strong> to open the prompt editor \u2013 that’s where you choose the template and run the generation in the next step.<\/p>\n

    Pick a prompt<\/h2>\n

    Choose from your list of Cover Letter Templates (see Cover Letter Templates<\/em> category). Each template uses variables like [Your Name]<\/code>, [Client Name]<\/code>, [Job Aspect]<\/code> that get filled in automatically.<\/p>\n

    Generate & review<\/h2>\n

    Click Generate<\/strong>. Within seconds the cover letter is inserted directly into Upwork’s textarea and the widget switches to the success card. From there you can:<\/p>\n

    • Review the inserted text in the Upwork field and freely edit it before submitting<\/li>\n
    • Click Regenerate<\/strong> to replace it with an alternative version<\/li>\n
    • If the job has screening questions, each one shows a \u25b6 button to generate an answer or \u21bb to regenerate the existing one<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      For a fully hands-off flow, use Auto Bid<\/strong> on the start screen \u2013 it generates the cover letter, answers all screening questions and submits the proposal in one click. Autocomplete<\/strong> does the same but stops short of submitting so you can review everything.<\/p>\n

        Can I edit manually?<\/h2>\n
