Writing answers for each one is tedious \u2013 especially if you&#8217;re applying to multiple jobs per day. Upwex&#8217;s AI Q&amp;A feature handles this automatically.<\/p>\n<h2>Where questions are detected<\/h2>\n<p>When you open a job&#8217;s proposal form, the Cover Letter widget scans the page for screening questions and lists them in a dedicated <strong>Questions<\/strong> section. Each row shows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The question number and text<\/li>\n<li>A small action icon on the right \u2013 <strong>\u25b6<\/strong> for an unanswered question, <strong>\u21bb<\/strong> for one that already has an answer in the Upwork field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The list appears both on the start screen of the widget (next to the Cover Letter \/ Autocomplete \/ Auto Bid cards) and on the success card after a cover letter is generated.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/help\/ss-ext-10-questions-section.png\" alt=\"Questions section in the Upwex Cover Letter widget \u2013 list of detected screening questions from the Upwork proposal form, each row showing the question number, question text and a per-question generate \/ regenerate icon button\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Generate or regenerate one answer<\/h2>\n<p>Click <strong>\u25b6<\/strong> next to an unanswered question \u2013 Upwex calls the AI, drops the result straight into the Upwork question field and switches the icon to <strong>\u21bb<\/strong>. Click <strong>\u21bb<\/strong> to replace the existing answer with a new variant. Each click is independent: questions are not generated together with the cover letter \u2013 you control them one by one.<\/p>\n<p>The AI considers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your synced Upwork profile (experience, skills, portfolio)<\/li>\n<li>The job description for context<\/li>\n<li>The question text itself<\/li>\n<li>The current cover letter, if one is already filled in (so the answer aligns with what you said in the proposal)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Answers are short (1\u20133 sentences) and tailored to sound like you, not generic AI-speak.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/help\/ss-ext-09-question-answered.png\" alt=\"Single screening question with the AI-generated answer filled into the Upwork proposal form \u2013 answered state shows the regenerate (\u21bb) icon next to the question, ready for review or another regeneration\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Generate every answer in one go<\/h2>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t want to click each \u25b6 manually, use one of the bulk actions on the start screen of the Cover Letter widget:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Autocomplete<\/strong> \u2013 generates the cover letter and every screening answer, fills the entire form, but stops short of submitting so you can review.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Auto Bid<\/strong> \u2013 same as Autocomplete, but also clicks Submit at the end.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Cost<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>1 AI Credit<\/strong> per question answer (each click of \u25b6 or \u21bb).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Autocomplete<\/strong> and <strong>Auto Bid<\/strong> spend 1 credit for the cover letter plus 1 credit per question they answer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Tip: review before submitting<\/h2>\n<p>AI answers are good but not perfect.
