Useful for agencies and any team running multiple Upwork freelancer profiles.<\/p>\n<h2>Who can invite<\/h2>\n<p>Only <strong>Owner<\/strong> and <strong>Admin<\/strong> roles can send invitations. Regular Members cannot invite others.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 1 \u2013 Open the Team page<\/h2>\n<p>Go to <a href=\"https:\/\/account.upwex.io\/team\">account.upwex.io\/team<\/a>. The header strip shows four stat cards summarising your team:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Total Members<\/strong> \u2013 every member, including pending invites<\/li>\n<li><strong>Active<\/strong> \u2013 members who have accepted the invite and are using their seat<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pending<\/strong> \u2013 invited but not yet accepted<\/li>\n<li><strong>AI Credits \u2013 X of Y<\/strong> \u2013 credits remaining vs the plan total for the team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Below the cards: a search field and role-filter tabs (<em>All<\/em>, <em>Owners<\/em>, <em>Admins<\/em>, <em>Members<\/em>) over the table itself with columns <strong>MEMBER \/ STATUS \/ ROLE \/ ACTION<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/help\/ss-tm-01-team-page.png\" alt=\"Team page \u2013 Total Members \/ Active \/ Pending \/ AI Credits stat cards, search field, role filter tabs (All \/ Owners \/ Admins \/ Members), and members table with MEMBER \/ STATUS \/ ROLE \/ ACTION columns; green Invite + button at the top right\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Step 2 \u2013 Click Invite +<\/h2>\n<p>The green <strong>Invite +<\/strong> button at the top right opens the <strong>Invite Team Member<\/strong> modal.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 3 \u2013 Fill in the email<\/h2>\n<p>The modal has only one input \u2013 <strong>Email address<\/strong>. There&#8217;s no role picker: every invite goes out as a <strong>Member<\/strong>, and you can promote them to Admin later from the Team table.<\/p>\n<p>A green <strong>+1 seat will be added<\/strong> banner shows the billing impact in real time:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Charged now (prorated)<\/strong> \u2013 the partial charge for the current billing cycle, calculated from days remaining.<\/li>\n<li><strong>New monthly total<\/strong> \u2013 what your subscription will be from the next renewal onward.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/help\/ss-tm-02-invite-modal.png\" alt=\"Invite Team Member modal \u2013 title with user-plus icon, message 'They'll receive a magic link to join your team as a Member. You can change their role later', green +1 seat will be added banner showing Charged now (prorated) and New monthly total, Email address field, green Add Seat &#038; Send Invite button\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Step 4 \u2013 Add Seat &#038; Send Invite<\/h2>\n<p>Click the green <strong>Add Seat &amp; Send Invite<\/strong> button. Three things happen at once:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Your subscription is charged the prorated amount immediately.<\/li>\n<li>The seat is added to your plan \u2013 even before the invitee accepts.<\/li>\n<li>Upwex emails the recipient a one-click <strong>magic link<\/strong> to join.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The new member appears in the Team table with a yellow <strong>Pending<\/strong> badge.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 5 \u2013 Recipient accepts<\/h2>\n<p>The recipient clicks the magic link, lands on Upwex, signs in (or creates an account if needed) and is automatically added to your team. Status switches from <em>Pending<\/em> to <em>Active<\/em>; their default role is <strong>Member<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/help\/ss-tm-03-pending-member.png\" alt=\"Team table after invite \u2013 second row showing 'account' member with yellow Pending badge next to the name, account@upwex.io email, Pending status, Member role, three-dot action menu on the right; stat cards above show Total Members 2, Active 1, Pending 1, AI Credits 1994 of 2000\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Resend or cancel a pending invite<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>\u22ee<\/strong> menu on a Pending row offers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Resend Invite<\/strong> \u2013 re-sends the magic link if the original email went to spam or was lost.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cancel \/ Remove<\/strong> \u2013 withdraws the invitation.
