You&#8217;ll see a single <strong>Pipedrive<\/strong> card with the description <em>&#8220;Syncs data from Upwork to Pipedrive CRM&#8221;<\/em> and a green <strong>Connect<\/strong> button on the right.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/help\/ss-int-01-pipedrive-not-connected.png\" alt=\"Tools &#038; Apps page in Upwex showing the Pipedrive card with the description 'Syncs data from Upwork to Pipedrive CRM, providing an easy integration between the platforms' and a green Connect button on the right\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Step 2 \u2013 Click Connect<\/h2>\n<p>Clicking <strong>Connect<\/strong> opens the Pipedrive OAuth consent screen in a new tab. If you&#8217;re not signed in to Pipedrive yet, log in first.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 3 \u2013 Review and approve permissions<\/h2>\n<p>The consent screen shows the app as <strong>Upwex \u2013 Upwork sync with Pipedrive<\/strong> and the company \/ user the integration will be installed for. Below it, Pipedrive lists the permissions Upwex requests:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Access to basic information<\/strong> \u2013 read your user settings and currencies (default for every Pipedrive app)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Deals: Full access<\/strong> \u2013 read, create and update deals, participants, files, notes and filters; read pipelines, stages and statistics<\/li>\n<li><strong>Activities: Full access<\/strong> \u2013 read, create and update activities and their files<\/li>\n<li><strong>Contacts: Full access<\/strong> \u2013 read, create and update persons and organisations and their followers; access to notes and files<\/li>\n<li><strong>Products: Full access<\/strong> \u2013 read, create and update products and add them to deals<\/li>\n<li><strong>Leads: Full access<\/strong> \u2013 read, create and update leads and lead labels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Although the OAuth scope formally grants delete rights as part of &#8220;Full access&#8221;, Upwex itself only creates and updates records \u2013 it never deletes anything from your Pipedrive.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/help\/ss-int-02-pipedrive-oauth.png\" alt=\"Pipedrive OAuth consent screen for the Upwex - Upwork sync with Pipedrive app: shows the company \/ user it will be installed for and a list of permissions (Access to basic information, Deals\/Activities\/Contacts\/Products\/Leads \u2013 Full access) plus Cancel and green Allow and Install buttons\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Step 4 \u2013 Click Allow and Install<\/h2>\n<p>Press the green <strong>Allow and Install<\/strong> button. Pipedrive issues an OAuth token to Upwex and redirects you back to the Tools &amp; Apps page.<\/p>\n<h2>Step 5 \u2013 Confirm the connection<\/h2>\n<p>The Pipedrive card now shows a green <strong>Connected<\/strong> pill, a red trash icon (disconnect), and a green <strong>Configure<\/strong> button. Clicking <strong>Configure<\/strong> opens the Pipedrive sync settings page where you choose <em>what<\/em> Upwex creates in Pipedrive on each sync \u2013 covered in the next article.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/help\/ss-int-03-pipedrive-connected.png\" alt=\"Tools &#038; Apps page after a successful Pipedrive connection: the Pipedrive card now shows a green 'Connected' pill, a red trash icon for disconnect, and a green Configure button on the right\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Disconnect Pipedrive<\/h2>\n<p>Click the red trash icon on the Pipedrive card to disconnect. Upwex revokes its OAuth token and stops syncing immediately. <strong>Records that Upwex previously created in Pipedrive are not removed<\/strong> \u2013 your Pipedrive workspace keeps the existing data, only future sync stops.<\/p>\n<h2>What happens after the connection?<\/h2>\n<p>Connecting alone does not start syncing data. By default the integration is connected but every &#8220;create&#8221; toggle is off \u2013 Upwex won&#8217;t push anything to Pipedrive until you decide what it should create.
