Upwex ships improvements regularly. Chrome usually updates extensions automatically in the background, but if you want the latest version right now – or support asked you to update before troubleshooting – you can force it in under a minute. There are two ways.

Option 1 — Update from the Extensions page

  1. Open the Extensions page: click the Chrome menu in the top-right corner → More tools → Extensions. (Or type chrome://extensions in the address bar.)
  2. Turn on Developer mode with the toggle in the top-right corner.
  3. Click the Update button that appears in the toolbar. Chrome fetches the newest version of every extension, including Upwex.

You can switch Developer mode back off afterwards – the update sticks.

Option 2 — Reinstall from the Chrome Web Store

  1. Open the Upwex extension page in the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Click Remove from Chrome to uninstall the current version.
  3. Click Add to Chrome to install the latest version fresh.

That’s it – you’re on the newest Upwex. If a feature still looks out of date after updating, reload your Upwork tab (or restart Chrome) so the new extension loads.
